SAML 2.0

Connect to your SAML2.0 enabled identity provider to allow your users to authenticate to YAROOMS without explicitly creating a user account inside YAROOMS.

SAML (Security Assertion Markup Language) is an open standard for exchanging authentication and authorization data between parties, in particular, between an identity provider and a service provider.

The most common use case for SAML is SSO (Single Sign On) which allows for the exchange of information between the Service Provider (YAROOMS) and the Identity Provider (SAML2.0 server), at the web browser level. The main advantage of this method of information exchange is that it allows a user to authenticate to YAROOMS with the company credentials, without giving YAROOMS access to these credentials.

The settings for integrating your YAROOMS account with SAML can be found in the Manage -> Integrations -> SAML 2.0 Authentication section of your YAROOMS account, provided you are a YAROOMS Administrator.

Further instructions for integrating with different SAML2.0 identity providers can be found in the appropriate Help items.
