Super-users

1. What is a super-user?

In YAROOMS, a super-user is a:

  • Administrator

  • Supervisor

  • Group Manager

  • Location Manager

2. Characteristics of super-users

  • Administrators can manage resources, access, setup, integrations, and billing.

  • Supervisors can reserve anything and manage everyone’s bookings.

  • Group managers can make, change, and cancel bookings, as well as plan work on behalf of other users in the managed group.

  • Location managers can make, change, and cancel bookings on behalf of other users in the assigned location. They also have access to the Analytics sections of their locations.

3. How to define a super-user

Administrators and Supervisors are the System groups. Based on your requirements, they are defined by the YAROOMS team.

To define an Administrator, follow the path Manage → Users → Manage groups and create a new user in the Administrators group.

To define a Supervisor, follow the path Manage → Users → Manage groups and create a new user in the Supervisors group. To define Group managers, follow the path Manage → Users → Manage groups. Open the group settings and select the users who should become Group Managers.

To define Location Managers, follow the path Manage → Location.

Open the location settings and add the users who should become Location Managers.
