Conflict resolution

YAROOMS prevents the double booking of any asset which is bookable through the platform.

Rooms – If booking occurs directly from the calendar, the time slots currently in use are inactive (cannot be picked from the list). If booking occurs through the recurrence function, the user will be prompted to solve all conflicts referring to overlapping meetings (either by removing the offending instance or by reassigning it) before they are allowed to proceed with booking. If booking through the Search room tool, the user will simply not be presented with options infringing upon this rule.

Resources - If the desired resource is already in use during that time it will be inactive (cannot be picked from the Book resources list). If booking occurs through the recurrence function, the user will receive a prompt indicating the offending instance which they have to remedy (either by removing the offending instance or by removing the resource) before they are allowed to proceed with booking. If booking through the Search room tool, the user will simply not be presented with options infringing upon this rule.

Attendees – If the person you are attempting to invite has already clicked Accept in an invitation received previously, they can no longer be invited to attend any other meeting. If the person you are attempting to invite has not clicked Accept in an invitation received previously, they are still available for invites. People can have several Pending invitations for the same time slot, but these will automatically be cancelled when they hit the Accept button for either one of them.
